Cattle are a pleasure to work in and out the yard. Their was the odd heifer that stirred slightly when separated from the mob under pressure in smaller yards and in the crush but settled when back with mob. Heifers overall are very quiet and were put through the draft twice at assessment and up the race on a very hot day.

Assessor Comments
Buyers 3 decks of PCAS eligible Brahman & Brahman/Charbray X heifers that show good frame, bone & length. Heifers were Preg tested at assessment by a vet with 70 head PTE & 24 head very early in calf (5-8 weeks) and treated with a PG (prostaglandin). Heifers are best described as showing very good weight for age, bone and frame & will continue to grow into large frame animals for the breed. Heifers will suit to go straight onto grain or continue to grow out on grass. The vendors have done tremendous job on these heifers temperament as they were great to handle at assessment in trying conditions. Vendor also has a line of cattle in the Eastern States Sale.
