128 FLATBACK BACKGROUNDER HEIFERS. 4 DECKS OF HEIFERS THAT ARE SET UP TO BACKGROUND INTO THE DOMESTIC FEEDER MARKETS. THESE HEIFERS SHOW GOOD WEIGHT FOR AGE, WITH GOOD BONE, FRAME & EVEN MUSCLING. 15 OF THE OLDER HEIFERS WERE MOUTHED TO FIND 8x MILK & 7x 2 TOOTH HEIFERS. THEY WEIGHED 275KG TO 414KG & AVERAGED 333KG AT ASSESSMENT. THE MAJORITY OF THESE HEIFERS ALL EXHIBIT LESS THAN 50% BOS INDICUS BREED CONTENT WITH NO HUMP TO SLIGHT HUMP, WHILE 8 HAVE MEDIUM AND 2 HAVE DEFINED HUMP. IT WAS NOTED THAT 1 HEIFER HAD MINIMAL FLY BITE SCARING AND THERE WAS SOME NOOGOORA BURR SEED IN A FEW TAILS. THERE IS ANOTHER LOT OF 60 PTIC COWS AND 28 PTIC HEIFERS FROM THE SAME PLACE IN THE WEANER AND YEARLING SALE. PLEASE NOTE DELIVERY IS ON FARM 60KM SOUTH OF HUGHENDEN. THESE HEIFERS ARE FROM A PRICKLY ACIACA FREE PROPERTY & ARE IN A TICK FREE AREA.
