Cattle are culled from the herd annually on temperament. This has led to a very quiet cow herd producing progeny that are easy to work with. These steers have been well handled from a young age and show excellent temperament.

Assessor Comments
An excellent quality line of EU Accredited steers backed by years of top genetics. The Belmore herd has been using Injemira and Yavenvale genetics for many years. These steers are from large framed, deep bodied cows that consistently produce excellent progeny and sired by top quality Reiland Angus bulls. These steers show good frame & type. In the past they have been purchased by bullock growers, back grounders & feedlots with excellent feedback. These steers are also eligible for grass-fed programs as they are pasture reared and anti-biotic free. NB: A small percentage of weaners had a runny eye at assessment and were treated.
