The Heifers had a bit of run in them when put in the yards but we did run them straight in and start assessing. A few were a bit stirry but more wanting to get out of your road than take you on. The odd Heifer did not want to settle but moved off quietly when let out of the yards. A few didn't like the crush but nothing unusual there. These Heifers have not had a lot of handling this year due to the yards being rebuilt and would benefit from being handled further.

Assessor Comments
Good quality Angus Heifers that go back to one of the oldest Angus herds in the district. They will make for future breeders, alternatively they will jump ahead on grain or grass. They have the frame and constitution to put a lot of weight on. The calving was a bit retracted and the weight variance is age not quality related, they would benefit from a drench , the yards have been in the process of being rebuilt so they have not been handled as much as previous years. Inspection prior to sale welcome.
