Cattle were very good to handle in the yards and crush. Four steers just would not fully settle or exited the crush quickly. They settled quickly back in the yard and were calm and settled while moving from yard to yard. See videos.

A good to very good quality line of 75% medium and 25% large frame yearling steers. They range from Angus through to a soft Angus cross. They suit to grow to heavy export feeder weights or to take directly onto feed for the domestic market. They have not had access to grain or antibiotics and are eligible for grass finishing programs. They have had an extended period on oats and are now grazing oats stubble and fresh improved pastures. This is the lighter deck of the steers and had a liveweight range of 298 - 401 kg with the heavier end of the steers also in this sale. Three steers had either a slight blue eye in one eye with one steer with slight blue eye spots on both eyes - not considered detrimental to feeder markets. They are located just south of Coolatai on the Warialda Rd and are easily accessible for any carriers running north and south. Note the liveweight purchase option available during the sale.
