Cattle were very good to handle in the yards and crush. Three heifers just would not fully settle or exited the crush quickly. They settled quickly back in the yard and were calm and settled while moving from yard to yard. See videos.

A good to mostly very good quality line of vendor bred NSM yearling heifers. They are 35% medium and 65% large frame heifers that range from Angus through to a soft Angus cross. The heifers were NSM but had access to a stag until two months ago and were vet preg tested at assessment. 43 head were NDP and one heifer was 8 weeks in calf and was injected to terminate the pregnancy. They suit to take to take directly onto feed for a range of high quality slaughter markets or as they have not had access to grain or antibiotics and are eligible for grass finishing programs. No heifers are being retained this year and this is the lead of the heifers and would suit as very good quality future breeders. One heifer had a weeping eye and was treated with Orbenin at assessment and will be rechecked prior to delivery. Note the liveweight purchase option available during the sale.
