Assessor Comments
Here presents an opportunity to immediately capture some Compensatory Gain on a quality line of Santa x steers. These steers have mostly been bred from a top quality Santa herd. There is a small number of purchased steers in this line that were sourced from Various weaner sales this year. The vendor regretfully offers this line of steers for sale due to seasonal conditions. They have generally kept them and targeted the top end of the heavy feeder bracket. Not only have they historically performed very well as backgrounders but also feedlot feedback has indicated they are regularly in the top 10% of cattle on feed. These steers are suited to most trade weight and all export feeder markets. Equally they will make a terrific line of steers to grass finish as bullocks. THIS VENDOR HAS 3 OTHER LOTS IN THIS SALE.

We regretfully offer this line of steers due to seasonal conditions. We would normally target top end of the heavy feeder market with these steers. They offer great frame in store condition and will ensure the purchaser captures compensatory gain.
