These steers were very easy to handle through the yards. When moved through gateways they sometimes needed to be blocked but could be slowed down. 5 steers became agitated in the weigh box but settled quickly when returned to mob. Cattle in the larger yard were noted to be quite.

Charolais x feeder steers averaging 394.9kg at delivery showing good shape and growth for age. Sired by Palgrove Charolais bulls out of Charolais x Angus and Charolais x Santa Cows. Steers have been performing well on oats crop and would turn into quality heavy feeders, grass or grained bullocks. 3 de-horned steers showing slight regrowth (3-5cm) Bulls have been selected for growth and carcass traits which can already be seen in these steers. Steers have been treated with their first dose of Bovillus MH+IBR on the 27/08/24.
