Outstanding opportunity to put together a big run of Lawson Angus blood EU accredited Angus steers with the complete drop minus the tail being offered for sale (total of 474 steers). This lot represents the lead draft to be offered in two lots of 90 (3 decks) and 60 (2 decks). This draft all weighed 365kg+ to average 400kg (365-472kg) after walking 4km to be assessed. Linton Park have been selecting Lawson Angus genetics for 20+ years with a focus on growth, marbling & temperament. The herd has developed a proven track record of performance targeting high-end feedlot markets, with marbling & growth performance in the top echelon. They are grassfed and antibiotic free eligible being Greenham Never Ever accredited. These steers are in ideal condition to continue in the paddock or feedlot and will provide plenty of compensatory weight gain. Not normally sold at these weights, usually sold in the new year as heavy feeders, but are being offered early this year due to the tough season.
