490 merino wth lambs, Aug/Sep drop that averaged 41.5kg full. They are been OJD vacc and have received three 6in1 vaccinations. They were shorn on the 15 Jan and drenched with a triple on the same day. Their wool has been sold and averaged 15.1 micron and was valued at $26.63 & $29.31/kg clean. The lambs are not mulesed. The lambs have been running on beans stubbles since mid Jan and are now getting fed beans on pasture until delivery. There is 900 in total and this is the top 490. A lot of the lambs show excellent stretch and are quite plan, there are some that still have a lot of wrinkle and look a bit tight (see photos). Aramis P/ship was originally based on MerinoTech genetics however for the past 6/5 years have focused more on CentrePlus and Mundilla genetics. The P/ship is very aggressive in sourcing leading sires that have proven performance from sire evaluation trials. Last year the tail was keep til hoggets and sold at 62kg liveweight. Very good wool lambs that will grow out.
