A very good quality run of Merino wether lambs from a well regarded Monaro flock. The Baines sheep are known for cutting heavy fleeces of high quality wool. This lot represents the entire 2023 drop with a 10% tail removed at assessment. Based on Cottage Park/Hazeldean bloodlines with recent influences from Charinga Merino in recent years. These lambs were shown 11 Sept and given a precautionary backline off the board so would be a welcome addition to any wool growing enterprise. Wether lambs are in forward store condition and have really started to do since shearing and some fresh pick about. Mature wethers from the Baines flock consistently cut 8kgs of 18.1-18.2 micron run under tough commercial conditions. Only being sold this year due to tightening of season to make some room. Mulesed and OJD vacc. Please note: Agent can arrange freight to most areas including Riverina with weekly market trucks.
