255 Merino Ewes with 250 lambs @ foot. Ewes are Vendor bred ranging in age from 3.5 to 5.5 years. September shorn, NSM, presenting from plain store to forward store condition. Note: age break up of ewes was established by the percentage of each age group from the sample of ewes assessed, use as an estimation only. Ewes are part of a Barber Vax program. Ewes & Lambs were subject to an overnight curfew. Lambs are October 2024 drop sired by Border Leicester & Merino rams. Its estimated 60% lambs are Border Leicester sired & 40% are Merino sired. Percentages were established from the sample of lambs assessed, please use as an estimation only. Lambs are a complete drop with a very small tail removed. Lambs marked 28.11.24.
A small number of merino lambs were noted to have water stain on shoulders, 2 long tails were marked @ assessment. Sale of ewes & lambs due to a reduction in breeding ewes, presenting an opportunity to purchase a line of vendor bred ewes with an established lamb at foot.
