All fat score one ewes are fit and healthy and will handle travelling a long distance in reasonable weather. Have been moved to a fresh paddock after scanning with ample fresh regrowth.

One mark The Willows bld composite ewes SIL to quality Springflat Poll Dorsets - J. Elliott, Gundagai. Sires used are within the top 50 percentile for ASBV’s as per the studs parameters. The ewes were primed for joining with teasers, introduced 15/01 and removed when the Dorsets were joined 16/02. SIL on the 24/04 to achieve a 95% conception rate and due to lamb over a tight 4-5 week period from mid July. 41% are carrying multiples, identifiable with a blue mark on rump. Purchased last year SIL. The progeny were born into a tough season and have been promptly finished on hard feed to trade-heavy trade weights performing as expected of composite lambs, a credit to their mothers. This years progeny and joining period being superior to the last. They are medium framed and light in fat cover due to running in a large mob grazing native summer grasses. Only for sale due to the finalisation of a lease and will equate to equity with rain. Vendor is offering another 2 lots SIL in today’s sale.
