Assessor Comments
A good quality run of younger Merino ewes. Ewes currently have very fresh lambs on them which will be weaned off prior to delivery. These ewes are the final dispersal of sheep of Forest View as vendor is focusing entirely on cattle. Previously a self replacing flock since 1949. Ewes are Snowy Plain (Hedger) Merino blood and are medium/large framed ewes with plenty of carcass and cut good quality 18.5 micron wool. Wollondibby have been selling their wool with Gordon Litchfield Wool for 30 years and many times have had their wool purchased by the Italian buyers. Ewes are mulesed.
