30% are in marginally lighter yet very strong store condition and relative to the big calves - In general the majority are in very good strong forward to fresh condition. The calves are in very good order - the odd larger calf - still very solid with a rougher winter coat yet the majority are in fresh sappy condition.

The cows moved through the yards for drafting freely with normal blocking & without any real rush or concern being handled in a managed & quiet fashion. Even the second time around for assessing they were as calm as the first time & relatively quiet. At times if any were isolated or cornered they did fizz up a little bit however given ample space & respect they settled quickly. The calves are exceptionally quiet and docile for calves of this size being separated for their first from mum.

Young cows - rejoined with Temania Angus bulls - #0's, 1's & 2's Crossbred, Brangus x, Charolais x / Charbray cross & Brahman - Brahman cross cows with Angus calves at foot - 142-318 kg av: 227 kg 54 steers & 44 heifers, good solid calves - very fresh and sappy. Their mothers are doing an excellent job and milking well. A very even drop of calves born in a very tight deliberate 3.5 month window 25 calves 142-199kg, 42 calves 200-246kg & 31 247-318kg - a good number weanable. A good style calf suitable for all markets & a very quiet disposition. The cows were at ease when walking through for photos showing little to no sign of concern when near or between them & their calves. A random sample of 25 preg tested by the vendor with 18 of the 25 deemed back in calf - so the potential of a bonus 3 in 1 in the majority of cows.
