Gilliland Livestock Marketing presents an opportunity to purchase a quality line of 25 Friesian and Friesian cross joiner age heifers. From a third generation dairy herd these heifers represent the lead of the 2020 drop calves and are the start of a genuine dairy dispersal. Sired by hand picked Chesworth dairy sires and raised on native pastures consisting of Kikuya and Rhodes grass these heifers present in forward store condition with plenty of leg and frame, putting them in an ideal position to join. As stated previously quality is of high importance to the herd with the main focus being on low cell counts and cow conformation for longevity this is reflected in last year’s cell count for the dairy being BMCC average of 180. Heifers are vaccinated for Botulism and 7 in 1 on a yearly basis, done with 3 germ blood, bunk trained and from a JBAS score 8 dairy. A great opportunity to purchase a terrific line of future milkers. Buyers note vendor has additional lot in same sale.
