Gilliland Livestock Marketing offers a quality line of 23 Friesian and Friesian cross heifers ready to join. These heifers represent 3 generations of breeding and are part of the first stage of a genuine dairy dispersal. The main breeding focus throughout the herd being on low cell counts and cow conformation for longevity, this resulted in Last year’s cell count BMCC average of 180. Sired by hand picked Chesworth dairy sires these heifers present in forward store condition. They have been vaccinated for Botulism and 7 in 1 on a yearly basis, vaccinated with 3 germ blood at weaning and also from a JBAS score 8 dairy herd. On assessment it was noted that 2 heifers had old scaring on the eye and 1 heifer with a minor lump from an injection. Overall, a quality line of well grown heifers that would be a great asset to any dairy herd. Buyers note vendor has additional lot in same sale.
