THESE HEIFERS WOULD SUIT THE MORE EXPERIENCED HANDLERS. THEY HAVE SOME UNEASINESS ABOUT THEM WITH NEW PEOPLE & DOGS PRESENT. THEY SETTLED VERY WELL AS THE VIDEO SHOWS. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO MEANNESS ABOUT THEM THEY JUST HAVEN'T BEEN THRU THE YARDS MUCH. THESE HEIFERS WOULD SETTLE INTO ANY NEW ROUTINE WELL WITH MORE REGULAR HANDLEING.

VERY WELL BRED SHORTHORN HEIFERS BY THE WEEBOLLABOLLA SIRES THAT ARE RISING 2 YO & NSM. THESE HEIFERS ARE BORN AT 1200 m ASL & DUE TO IMPASSABLE ROADS HAD TO STAY THERE AN EXTRA WINTER INSTEAD OF COMING TO VENDORS HOME BLOCK AT BERRIDALE. THESE CATTLE ARE ALL FRAME WITH LITTLE TO NO CONDITION & PRESENT AN OPPORTUNITY TO BUY WELL BRED CATTLE TO EITHER FATTERN OR BREED ON WITH. SOME RUN IN THESE CATTLE BUT THEY SETTLED WELL WITH A FEW LESS PEOPLE IN THE YARDS.
HEIFERS WILL GROW OUT ON BETTER FEED WITH VENDORS COW HERD AVERAGING 620-680kg (lw), THEY WILL MAKE HIGH QUALITY FUTURE BREEDERS IF YOU GO THAT WAY. ALTERNATIVELY THERE WOULD BE SOME RAPID GROWTH RATES IN THESE YOUNG FEMALES ON GREEN FEED OR GRAIN. JUST CUTTING TO 2 TOOTHS NOW. THE WOODHOUSE FAMILY HAVE BRED SHORTHORNS AT HIGH ALTITUDE IN THE SNOWY MOUNTAINS FOR 5 GENERATIONS & THESE CATTLE WILL HAVE A HARDY CONSTITUTION TO HANDLE JUST ABOUT ANYTHING.
