Assessor Comments
A unique opportunity here presents itself to purchase 5 x 5 NSM Charolais Heifers and Calves. Heifers were bought in off AuctionsPlus 12 months ago, Ex “Chenu” Charolais stud heifers. With Red Angus calves at foot 6 weeks old. The Heifers were easy to handle and assess. Only one heifer a bit runny the other 4 just stand there and look at you. These heifers are cleaning up in the coat nicely and just starting to hit there straps in the last couple of weeks, as the farm is a wet farm and just starting to dry up and get around it now. Not re joined. A nice small line to top up someone’s existing Charolais herd, with plenty of breeding years in them as the hard work is done with the first calf on the ground. Calves received first 5 in 1 shot at weighing. One calf has sour burn down its rear end and legs. (See photos) Please note = One heifer and Calf left out of assessment, as calf was lame. Buyer can negotiate on her after the sale if interested.
