Cows were quite anxious in the yards, and wanted to get away from the handler. A lot of rushing in the pens and pushing up the race. Most stood well in the crush, and exited sensibly, but just nervous in the yards. These young females have been away on agistment and have lacked that bit of extra handling that they’ve been needing. Some further education and a bit of persuasive hand feeding will go a long way.

Genetically fantastic young breeders, and in the prime of their life. Selecting Top end sires for natural joining, securing bulls for phenotype & that only support an IMF figure of 5.2 or higher. These young mums represent an opportunity to introduce some exceptional genetics in to your herd. These females have been out on agistment and have had to work hard, on only very short basic pastures whilst rearing a calf. The calves at foot are all doing well and will continue to go forward now that Mum is on some fresher pastures.
