These cattle a credit to the Topend breeding program at Blackwater. They carefully select Sires from the Raff Angus stud every year. The breeding program is always striving for excellence and this has been proven by their performance in the Ekka paddock to Palate competition over the last couple years. In 2018 and 2019 finishing 5th and 7th overall respectively. These wins were in eating quality and also weight gain. I have sold these steers into several feedlots and they have always performed well for the purchaser. These are a tremendously quiet line of cattle, that are EU accredited, all milk teeth and excellent quality. Please give me a call if you have any further Enquiry

The TOPEND herd started as a Brangus base 20 years ago. For the last 17 years the operation has been buying straight Angus bulls and for the last 14 have been using Raff bulls only.
