Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Really very quiet cattle, they are only early in their weaning progress (since 8th August) however they handled smoothly through all gates and in the race. Like most Northern cattle a small percentage will agitate under pressure but there was certainly no aggression or banging into rails etc. Most cattle took one jump out of the way box and trotted out the race calmly and easily with only 5 head that became slightly stirry in this process.

Assessor Comments
An attractive line of heifers that are certainly well enough bred to go on as someone's potential breeders. Their temperament and willingness to eat in the yards gives me confidence to suggest they will be performers in a trade situation as well. They carry very good weight for age characteristics and are fit, healthy and ready to travel. They carry no blemishes such as fly bite etc and are an appealing line. I noted 3 baldy faces and 4 brindles but all of these are still high quality. **Please note that the vendor will pre treat with Cattleguard P/O on the 26th August to make them eligible to truck in the tick clearing window 30th August to 2nd September.
