Well educated line of steers. Cell grazed and extensively handled. Brought up from the back yard by a single handler, all led up the race well, a few doing a bit of pushing from behind (listed above as slightly stirry) All exiting the crush sensibly. Very quiet to handle in the yards and walk between pens. Wanted to trot a bit when pressure was applied in the large holding yard, ( very typical of the breed) but blocked up easily, with no hassles and all stood quietly to have photos taken.

Assessor Comments
Good opportunity for someone wanting to take on some well grown, forward condition steers to target the Wagyu Feedlot market. Steers have been cell grazed on high performing cereal crops for the past 3 months, rotating between Wheat, Oats & Barley, as well as the run of adjacent Rye/Clover pasture crops. These steers are out of large framed Mawarra & Sugarload Hereford females, by select Gooroombat Wagyu sires 9see attached doc’s) An ideal run of steers to continue backgrounding for the Spring, then take to the bunkers to finish. Buyers please Note. Vendor has another lot of F1 brothers in same sale - Out of Hereford females, By Wagyu sires (black baldies)
