Assessor Comments
Good line of surplus ewe lambs from the Wirryilka flock to suit restockers. Ewe lambs present in store condition with 20% tending towards strong store condition. Show these some good feed and they will perform! A tail of approx 100 lambs was drafted off prior to assessment leaving 830 in the mob all up. They will be sold as a run out the gate of two lots of 415. North Cowie bloodline has been used for past 34 years and the flock can be described as med to large frame, growing plenty of quality medium micron wool. Please note odd ewe showing light ewe horn or scur typical of pure merino genetics. Grow these out as future breeders to join later in the spring then class up when they are in lamb. Alternatively they would be great ewe lambs to tuck away and polish up to sell in the spring, or maybe even fatten for a winter kill. Opportunity for anyone with surplus feed to value add!!
