Assessor Comments
109 x 149 Dohne Ewes and Lambs. The Price family have been breeding Dohne Ewes for 20 years with original bloodlines coming from Uardry and more recently being based on Gullendah Dohnes from Baldry. Ewes are 4-5yrs and stand on a good frame with a long body about them. Ewes are currently full wool and giving the buyer a great rebate on their backs with these sheep cutting 5.5kgs last year @19.5micron. Lambs at foot are fresh and forward in condition with the ewes putting alot into them. There is a small lot of approx 8 lambs that are only 1 month old the rest are 2.5-4mths. Lambs are all marked and tagged. Ewes and Lambs have been running on native hill country throughout the winter a present in good condition but would power ahead onto fresh improved pastures into the spring. An article that would make a great split trade or take the ewes on for another joining as they still have plenty left to give!!
